The Launch of 'MAKERS' Denim
AUT '23 'ETHEREAL' Collection includes the Opening Season of M/SF/T MAKERS DENIM.
"Designed by makers, worn by makers. Made to last in heavy duty denim using sustainably sourced cotton. It didn’t feel right using any old denim off the shelf, so we created our own yarn dye weave to make sure every colour was unique, and so that it stood the test of time.
When creating these styles, we had one focus… Low impact to the earth, maximum output in style.
Collaborating with mills and suppliers that know how to treat denim and their makers with respect. Choosing to use minimal water usage and letting the fabric speak for itself. The vegan leather patch and premium trims are just the icing on the cake.
It wouldn’t be MISFIT MAKERS DENIM without the signature mis-matched pocketing detail and the coloured flag label. Details to give your fellow maker a nod on passing.

The MAKERS Campaign presents some of our allied makers in their spaces. A look into the studios, workshops, kitchens, garages, offices and work spaces of true makers.
This season opens with long-time friend and iconic Australian artist Ben Brown, Gummy from Thank You Tattoo, Alanna Cooney from The Ayu and Madeleine Bulgin of The Authentik/ Hiatus Studios.
In the coming weeks we will also release the first of our MAKERS Podcast Series through Spotify. Ep.1 sees brand daddies Chong & Rad Dan talk music, art, surfing and family with Ben Brown. The podcast includes some of Ben's favourite music and stories from his 30+ year career.
