For almost the entire first decade, every board was shaped by hand. And every one of the tens of thousands of M/SF/T boards produced in Australia over the years has been shaped by Dave Howell.
This year marks 25 years of shaping for Dave. (Next year, it'll be 25 years of M/SF/T)
And just when you might think he'd be slowing down, he's doing quite the opposite.
Over recent years, Dave has continued to push his understanding of board design, collaborating with some of the best shapers in the world, sharing knowledge and refining his craft. He's as passionate and dedicated to shaping as he's ever been. And we reckon his boards are more dialled, considered and refined than ever.
In a world where so much has changed about how surfboards are made, there's something worth celebrating about 25 years of hands-on knowledge, experience and an unwavering commitment to the craft.
For those who value knowing who's behind the boards they ride, we're still here.
And our greatest love is still shaping boards for you.
