Gummy is a heavyweight in the Sydney, well Aus-wide tattoo scene. His studio/ parlor Thanks Tattoo Sydney is a landmark on the Oxford St strip, and hosts clients from all around the globe, not to mention half of Sydney. He literally has tattooed every tattooed person I know.

Gummy is one of those unassuming and kindly people. He could be mistaken for a Kings Cross hitman, or the lead singer of Metallica (is it just me, Gummy looks a bit like James Hetfield right?! Weirdly enough Hetfield and Ryan Gosling...) but the guy is as sweet as they come. In fact the day we shot in his studio, which he kindly met us early in the morning before any patrons arrived, he spent the morning making sure we were looked after. It's one of the reasons his tattoo shop is so saught after and so well respected. That and the fact that he isn't the only wildly talented person that tattoos out of his space.
