BIG MONTH OF BOARDS
THIS MONTH IS STACKED WITH RELEASES.
We dont always plan it this way, but on this occasion we have 3 major surfboard releases coming within the next month. So let's take you through what's a coming...
Our longer line Beach Cloud is nearly ready for release, and the timing couldn't be better. The East Coast has started receiving quintessential Autumn conditions; groundswells, light winds and warm water. The points are lighting up, and this board is built for these coming months !
LONGUS releases within the next week.
VELVET STEEL ~ 'PRIMITEK'
This is our first round of EPS/ EPOXY boards produced in partnership with Surftech US.
For nearly 2 years we have been developing an EPS/ Epoxy construction with the product engineers at Surftech. The construction possesses all the great benefits of highly technical eps/ epoxy construction (strength, flex, lightness, liveliness) but in a stripped back minimal aesthetic, with the normal graphic expression you'd come to expect..
"We wanted the pinnacle of technical eps/ epoxy construction, but we didn't want the taping, inlays, laps, carbon techiness that usually comes with the construction in this space. So Primitek is stripped right back, but no expense has been spared on the foam, cloth and resin we have used to make the boards perform and last."
- Dave Howell, founder/ shaper.
PRIMITEK releases later this month.
SNUB NAUTICAL ERASER HEAD
Yep, we are calling a model "SNUB NAUTICAL ERASER HEAD". You can abbreviate it to SNUB or ERASER, but it's an ode David Lynch's 1977 horror film 'Eraser Head', but most importantly, it's what Tito wanted to call it, and it's his damn 1st Signature model !
Like the above, this has also been in development for nearly 2 years and it has taken many turns in design. It started with a round tail with flyers, with a deep quad channel, set up as a twin. It is now a thumby round square, with a hip, no channel and a thruster setup.
I am currently riding a 5'9 and I'm stuck to name another model of ours that is as fun as this thing. It kinda does everything, goes in everything. I've maybe never ridden a board with as much pocket control, drive, speed and release. It's my new everydayer !
SNUB or ERASER or SNUB NAUTICAL ERASER HEAD releases in early May.
