Released in our 2018 ‘Modern Cloud Control 3’ Collection, the original flyer swallow ‘BEACH METALL’ reflected our desire to continue advancing ‘performance’ twin fins. In the winter of 2019, we introduced it’s round (RND) tail sister model to further facilitate the same contemporary twin fin approach but this time in far juicier conditions.
The flyer has been replaced with a tight round tail that gradually draws down from an accented wide point, creating an aesthetically pleasing no-break outline that surfs just as it appears - it drives, it holds, it loves the tub, and it’s so fluent and smooth rail-to-rail.
We have kept the same low/ medium rails and overall refined foil to let the water flow over the board with minimal restriction, which coupled with the round tail gives the board incredible hold and control. It has the same medium nose lift, and again is quite flat out the tail, encouraging masses of planning speed. Slight singles through entry to encourage paddle-ability, blended into single doubles between your feet for control and stability, then a slight flat out the tail gives this baby controlled release.
As with its brother we have based the board around a more up-right style fin design. Still no trailing fin required here, BUT you could add some channels if your intention is to tackle whatever Mother Nature’s big bosoms may throw at you. Maybe even look at adding an inch or two in length, and what the heck, why not go all murdered out like this midnight special…

A capped “EXPRESS” option can be added at a fee of $50 AUD.
All discounted, factory second, or preloved boards will be subject to standard freighting costs, with quotes available upon request. In most instances, freight does not exceed $100 AUD within mainland Australia.
