TWO WEEKS LATER....

You wouldn't bloody read about it but we are still surfing in bikini's and rashies up here in the Northern Rivers and we're a month away from Winter. With temps in and out of the water at a more than comfortable mid 20°C, we absolutely lapped it up on the 6th of May for our third WOM Boardriders Event!

Up bright and early to pack the car, I headed down to Broken Head beach to set up for a day with the gals. The group chat started popping off with messages and they were dropping like flies, with good excuses of course, but really for most it was just a slow start to the sunny Saturday morning and I was soon joined by some new but mostly familiar faces. 

After assessing the pristine conditions we decided to can the competition this time round so we could all spend the day in the water and enjoy a group sesh together.

A few party waves and a fin chop resulting in 6 stitches for Doctor Grace, we wrapped it up buzzing on a high from a great day!

Shoutouts to Kate for getting behind the lens and taking action shots which I'm still yet to see (don't worry the images won't expire). And to Issy for coming down from the Goldy to join us for the first time and her trooper hungover buddy who missioned it down with her for moral support.

We love to see it so if you've been thinking about joining us, don't be intimated, this is a surf group for all skill (or no skill) levels and we will welcome you with open arms.
