Rain, hail or shine baby, the WOM frothers showed up on Saturday!!!

To be honest, in the early hours of the morning, cancelling the event should have crossed our minds, but we were certain (*with the slightest hint of doubt) that the day was destined to be a bloody good one and there was no way we were letting a bit of rain stop us! 

Naturally, the sun lovers and blue crush dreamers were eager to come down to Broken Head Beach and sign up to the Women of Misfit Boardriders Club.

We set up camp and took shelter under the umbrellas whilst we waited for the rain to pass and blue skies to grace our presence. 

For most, this wasn't their first rodeo in the water. Powering the paddle out to the point in our teams bright yellow rashie, the vibrance and energy of the girls was noticed.

With encouragement and a new friend to guide them, some took this opportunity to try out our boards and were pushed onto their first waves.

As the day carried on, spirits were kept high with crispy tins from Pals and a tasty sausage sizzle to end the day.
