LIFERAFTS

LIFERAFTS

It's a wild tail.

Most would have followed the incredible story of survival as four Aussies and three Indonesian crew capsized a small boat on route to Nias during a storm last Sunday night. For 37 hours, including 2 nights, they drifted at sea with nothing but an unwaxed surfboard to keep each of them afloat.

Sadly, one of the Indonesian crew is still missing, with hopes now fading for his survival.

Good friend Casper Ettelson, who was pictured with his new Indo bound quiver on the Saturday before the event, was on the second boat that made it to Nias. Fortunately for the others, if you can consider this good fortune, his boards were on the boat that went down, and were used a liferafts for the surviving party.

Our hopes and prayers remain with the missing crew member.
